I came across a craft blog that I read (which I might add am strongly thinking about not reading anymore) that shocked me. I guess I shouldn't have been to shocked considering the world we live in. She talked about how she let her son watch the Obama's speech, and told of how she taught her daughter (aprox age 5) to say "Doofus" every time she saw Bush. I just started going to this new group that makes quilts for Quilts of Valor. We meet once a month to make quilts for Wounded Soldiers from Iraq. My group is hosted by Blue Star Moms. I started this ChipIn (below and on my blog) to raise money to buy 100% cotton fabric in patriotic colors red, white, and blue to make the quilts we donate.
