Media Malpractice

My husband brought to my attention a new documentary coming out titled: Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected And Why Palin Was Targeted! .By film maker John Zeigler. I am very anxious to watch this documentary.

I am also very excited, because Harrison and I get to listen to a lecture by film maker John Ziegler. He is coming to our county to speak at a country club this next week. I am looking forwa… Continue

Parents teaching disrespect..

I came across a craft blog that I read (which I might add am strongly thinking about not reading anymore) that shocked me. I guess I shouldn't have been to shocked considering the world we live in. She talked about how she let her son watch the Obama's speech, and told of how she taught her daughter (aprox age 5) to say "Doofus" every time she saw Bush. Quote "She picked up on it so quickly and did it with such joy! I’m so proud of her."

I find it appalling that parents are teaching children to… Continue

Quilts of Valor

I just started going to this new group that makes quilts for Quilts of Valor. We meet once a month to make quilts for Wounded Soldiers from Iraq. My group is hosted by Blue Star Moms. I started this ChipIn (below and on my blog) to raise money to buy 100% cotton fabric in patriotic colors red, white, and blue to make the quilts we donate. So if you know anyone who would like to donate, send them my way.

100% of the money goes towards making these quilts. In th… Continue

Oh, definitely! Woman are wonderful! :-) Wives should be under submission to their husbands, but that doesn't mean they can't have a leadership roles. I also beleive that a woman being a home maker is a more important and harder job than a guy's corporate job. The guy's jobs are just more praised. Woman are the wind beneath our wings. :D
