BALANCE, CUT, SAVE

These days, Balancing and Cutting the budget are foreign words to our Representatives in Congress. “WE THE PEOPLE” must stand together and save America’s future. Government is bankrupt, (our government), which means we are bankrupt as a nation. Congress and all Americans need to learn that the borrower is slave to the lender. We cannot go on borrowing this countries future. We are digging a grave for ourselves so deep, that not even three generations of Mike Huckabee as president could get us ou… Continue

Poll Alert for Mike Huckabee!

NPR.org is having a Political March Madness Poll for the 2012 Republican Primary.

Mike Huckabee won Round One against Chuck Hagel, but now (in round two) he is in a tight race with Jim DeMint. Mike Huckabee needs our help! He's lagging behind. It's just a fun poll, but let's see if we can get Mike to come up on top. Be the voice for all of those Mike supporters that don't use the Internet that much.… Continue

Change The Math

I am going to let you in on a little legislative secret I learned during my time as Lt. Governor and Governor of Arkansas: a lot of legislation that gets submitted is like garbage. If it sits there long enough, it really starts smelling.

Now, Congress knows that the so-called stimulus bill is garbage, that's why they are trying to ram it through. The quicker it gets through, the less chance we have to realize that this legislation really stinks. Remember the bank bailout bill? It

We Aren't Satisfied - The Huck PAC

In it's first six months, Huck PAC's political and financial support helped propel 38 candidates to wins in a very tough political climate. We are excited about this but we aren't satisfied. We can and will do better in 2009 and 2010.

Our country needs conservative leadership now more than ever. We need conservative leadership in the Congress to counter Barack Obama's and the Democrat Congress' agenda. We need conservative management of state governments and legislatures to help manage our econ… Continue

Are Republicans Losing Their Courage?

"Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall! "
- Ronald Reagan, June 12, 1987

By Jack Hoogendyk
On his program Monday, Rush Limbaugh made mention of a recent retreat held by the Senate Republicans. He said this, "As I mentioned to you on Friday, the Senate Republicans had a retreat, and they all came out of it demoralized. They were told, "Do not be confrontational, be moderate, and remember the plight of northeastern Republica… Continue

Your right, women being pastors is not Biblical. They can still hold some leadership in the church, depending on what it is. The Bible says that Men should be the spiritual leader in the church and home. But not necessarily the leader in everything. Men have their leadership roles and women have their leadership roles. They are just different kinds of leadership.

I agree with you, I guess maybe I am old fashioned too. I don't think women should be pastors, but I see no problem with a woman president.

Oh ya! Andy Griffith and Barney Fife are classic! :) I probably have every episode memorized. lol
